WORD OF THE DAY: synchronicity
Blah. I was so bored all day. I ate a bit of breakfast, went online, ff.n still wasn't working, which sucked. There was nobody to talk to online, which sucked. I did some stuff and got off. Did the dishes. Watched TV. Went back online. Read some diaries. Worked on my site. Got off for a while. Watched more TV, wrote a little. Got back online and worked on the site until around 2:30, touching up the layout, adding The Dictionary and a new poll, re-doing the Newsticker and making a new splash page. After that I messed around with some other stuff, cursed at ff.n, and got off. Finally got dressed. Typed up some stuff on the other computer. Watched part of Girl, Interrupted. Then Mom came home at 3:15, she, Andrea and I went out. Andrea and I had to get bloodwork. What fun with me and my bad veins. Then we got Wendy's for dinner. Yum. Later Mom and Daniel went to Blockbuster's and rented some video games and movies: Dude, Where's My Car? and Joan of Arc, the one with Leelee Sobieski (sp?). We watched Dude, Mom actually thought it was kinda funny. Now I'm online. Part of ff.n is working, just not the stories. The home page and my account page works. Stories and author pages don't. This, my friends, sucks.

And I most certainly agree. That, and a sense of humour.
How corny can I get? Oh trust me, this isn't half as bad as normally.
But honestly people. The first thing I look at in a person is their eyes. Not the attractiveness of them, but their expression. Ever hear "The eyes are the window to the soul"? I love that saying. I pay attention to little quirks and pick up on what a person is like.
What I love most about my philosophy on attractiveness is it works the Internet. I can talk to people and have no clue what they look like, yet still become good friends with them. Like Casey. I immediately took a liking to him because he made me laugh my head off and I could tell that he was a good guy. Then I saw his picture and found out he was not only a good guy, but a good looking guy... hehehe... And I met him this summer and he was just the same. (Now my friends and sister have another guy to bother me about...)
I guess I could say people who are honest and funny are the most attractive to me. If you want to go for physical attractiveness, the eyes are it. And dimples are awesome. I want dimples, dammit!

Am I Going.... *gasp* girly?????? 7/19/2001
WORD OF THE DAY: hierophant
We went shopping for like the second time this week. I looked at those pants again, wasn't really sure about them, and we decided to wait until after camping to get them. Andrea and I looked at the bathing suits and they were all... old lady-ish. I felt so fat looking at them. Then Andrea, tiny little Andrea, had to go looking in the little kids section for her swimsuit. Haha. She's twelve and still shops in the kids stuff. Anyway, she found one, we bought it and some other stuff, and left.
One of the other things I bought was... a dress.
Yes. Me. I. Bought. A. Dress. I now own a total of four dresses, two of them being short.
Damn this. Hormones I tell you, hormones! I go through these phases where I actually wear makeup and dress all nice and stuff, and when I reflect on them later, I feel all... ugh. I'm wearing this dress now. It's orange. It has red rickrack across the hem and the top. I like it.
I feel so weird.

I'm not kidding. She e-mails me and says "I printed out the first six chapters of 7th D., haven't gotten around to reading them though" and I'm like, "Oh-kaaaaaayyyy...." Stupid girl! Do you KNOW how long that is?! She'd better not plan on printing out the whole thing, 'cause that would be a helluvalotof paper, around 150 pages.
Sheesh.
I'm good, but I'm not that good.

So... Feckin'... Bored... 7/16/2001
WORD OF THE DAY: Can't remember... something about fancy speech.
Last night I went to Julie's birthday party. Funfun. I'd just gotten back from Orléans about two hours before so I was really tired (and still thinking about Casey ^_^), but not tired enough to not cause trouble. Later that night I wanted to go put bologna on cars in his honour or something like that, but Julie didn't have any bologna.
Anyhoo, we hung out on the trampoline, nobody went swimming except Jenny (back from Belleville for the summer -- she goes to school there), and Julie's sister was around but that's okay, she's kinda cool for a nine-year-old. Soooo we played Twister -- on the trampoline, of course. Man, that makes it so much harder 'cause you're bouncing all over the place and crap like that. Sweetness.
Apparently, Kim never noticed the "I Love Izzy" tattoo Heather and I left on her shoulder after Heather's sleepover. I had to tell her about it. She was ticked that she didn't notice.
I told them all about the afternoon with Casey, then I showed them his web site 'cause everyone who hasn't seen his picture wanted to know what he looked like. Then we went to Chantell's friend's web site and I signed his guestbook just so I could get mad at him for stealing the pictures of Kim off my web site. Seriously. What an asshole.
We watched Save the Last Dance; kickass movie. Chantell cried at a couple parts. I almost did. Julie's brother was being such an idiot she dragged him upstairs. He was laughing at all the mushy parts, which in my opinion, are always the best parts of any movie. Her brother's an alien.
After that we went for a walk. It was dark but we didn't care. We walked clear across the subdivision and back to Julie's house. I was so hyper and inspired by the movie that I was dancing across the sidewalk and in the streets. Later we went back to Julie's for a while, then we went out walking again. Kim and I were walking ahead of the rest of them and while they went into the park, we kept walking along the street so we could "accidentally" meet up with the skaters at the end of Julie's street that had wanted to talk to all of us earlier. They're really not that bad. One of them got in a fight with Julie's cousin a while ago. We tried to get the rest of the girls to come down but they wouldn't. Then Julie came over, and Megan. We were talking about crap and stuff, then my mom came to pick me up. Dammit.
I might be going out for a walk with Julie and Kim later.
My nose hurts.

All Right, I'll Explain A Little Better.... 7/14/2001
Okay, I know the last one was a little rushed, so I'll explain.
I'm at my aunt's house for the weekend, which, strangely, happens to be in the same town as Casey. Sooo last night when I was talking to him on MSN here, we made plans to meet.
Actually, it was a little more complicated than that. Andrea and Nicky, my cousin, decided to comandeer the keyboard. Nicky held my arms back while Andrea asked. Sheesh. Those two can't let me do anything myself.
So what did we do? Hung out at the mall. For like, four hours. Went there at 2:30 and I went home around six. Andrea, Nicky, and Nicky's friend Erin were practically stalking us the whole time.
I had a pretty good time. My feet hurt after a while though, but hey, whatever. We talked forever, stared at the lava lamps in Wal-Mart, stuff like that.
Heather said it would change everything. Well, the only thing so far is that at this very moment we have absolutely nothing to talk about because we talked about everything today! Sheesh!

Love, Love Me Do... *Theme* 7/6/2001
Love... have I been in love? Most likely not. Yeah, me, the hopeless romantic of the world, has not been in love. Well, besides the typical teenage celebrity crushes and stuff like that... not really.
It's easy for me to write romance though... there I go, relating to writing again... but it's true. My author list at ff.n is like, Romance, romance, romance/drama, romance, drama, humour, romance/drama, drama/romance... you get the picture. Same with my faves list. I'm addicted to the stuff. Love is a drug.
I could be in love. I *do* have a crush on a guy... Keane, as you may know from other entries... but that's about it. I don't really pay much attention to guys, you know? They're not that big a deal to me, and I don't understand people who are boy crazy. I'm not desperate for a boyfriend, but it would be nice. I've been asked out twice in my life. I said no both times. First guy I could tell was only interested in my brains, and the other guy was an idiot.
Love is cool. That's why I love it.

HELP!!!!! (P.S. MSN must Burn) 7/5/2001

MSN Messenger hates me. A lot. A very lot. It refuses to let me sign in. At all. When I try, it tells me this:
"Signing into MSN Messenger Service failed because the service is not responding. The service is not available or you may not be connected to the Internet."
Now, normally I could just hit Retry and try again and it'd work, but now... it's... not... working... I haven't had an actual conversation with Casey in almost a week... We have been communicating by e-mail. *shudders* Dammit, I miss him! *sniff sniff, sob sob, tear*
Has this been happening to anyone else besides me, Casey, and Laura? Has it happened to anyone before? How'd you fix it? Casey said he was going to try to delete the entire thing and re-download it. Thing is, I dunno if that'll work. It let my sister in no problem. It's just me. Focker!!!!!!!

MSN is being a bitch. It took me all morning just to log on and when I finally did, all my contacts were gone. Gone! I logged in on another address and it was fine, but this one, noooooo. So I had to re-add everyone. Not like it matters. Nobody's on anyway.
My brother's friends are over and being... boys. Annoying. Andrea went to her friend's house and should be home soon.
Heather's sleepover is tonight. She told me to bring duct tape. For Kim. Hehe. It'll kick ass.
