Randal Will Start His Own Real Worl 7/31/2002
WORD OF THE DAY: abecedarian
Ohhhhhhh fuck. Where the fuck do I start? Monday sounds good. I didn't write about Monday on Monday.
You know, Mondays have a reputation for being shitty and even in summer vacation they still can be. Ryan is being the biggest pest/dumbass on the face of the planet. He thinks that I don't take an interest in anyone else's life -- specifically his -- and that I never want to do anything. He also seems to think that he needs to play the part of the hero and save me from myself so I don't turn into some ugly old crone who never goes out and doesn't give a flying fuck about anyone or anything.
Does this guy not know the meaning of downtime?! God, we did shitloads of stuff for the first couple weeks of summer and everyone was so busy, so maybe I just want to sit around the house for a couple of days and not do a lot of stuff. Perhaps I want to sleep for a while. Veg out in front of the computer all day and just go out for a little at night with a bunch of friends.
Actually I think it's the "bunch of friends" part that's the turning point. When he asks me to do stuff like, just the two of us, I get this kinda, "No" feeling but if it's a group, or if Katie or Heather called I'm like "rock on." Like yesterday, he kept asking if I wanted to stuff and I told him no, then Katie asked me over and I was like, sweet, let's go. I really think I'm, well, growing tired of him. At first it was his veritable clinginess and always wanting to be with me and talking to me that was kinda cute but more annoying and now he's taken it to trying to bring me out of this shell he thinks I'm in. GodDAMMIT, I'm not liking him very much right now.
And he keeps telling me stuff he really shouldn't be. Like that whole Sean and Devin thing a while ago, and now apparently he was staying over at Devin's house or something and Pat came out. GodDAMMIT, that's great and all, but you know, it's one of those things that if Pat wanted me to know he'd tell me personally. And bloody hell, sometimes I just feel like punching him for doing stuff like that. And stuff like last night.
Katie had Devin, Ryan, me, Sean and Heather over last night to hang out in her brand spankin' new hot tub. It's lovely and amazing and oh-so-relaxing. Mom drove me up and we passed Ryan's house and he was leaving it. Mom asked if he was going to Katie's and if I wanted to give him a ride and I quite bluntly said no. Mom gave me this weird look and I told her everything on the way up to Katie's, minus the secrets obviously.
I was the first one up at Katie's and we hung around, played with Pepper and Pooch, her dogs, and then Ryan and Devin got there. My GOD Ryan was mopey. I mean, yeah, this whole thing is bugging me too but I'm not going to let it stop me from having a good time with my friends. The whole night he hardly said a word to anyone at all besides Devin, sat apart from everyone else, didn't even attempt to make an effort to try to be somewhat social. I tried talking to him and he was unresponsive so I left him alone. He was being so fucking childish and I wasn't going to let that stop me from having a good time.
Besides, I was too smitten with Sean's head. He shaved it. Really. All his hair is off. Apparently he'd bleached it and it had looked really fucking cool but he didn't like it so he just shaved it all off. It's good that he has a nice head though 'cause if he had an ugly head it would've been a Very Bad Idea. It's starting to come back now so it's all fuzzy and stuff and feels really cool. They keep calling him Lex Luther. (sp?)
We had a fire and roasted marshmallows and hotdogs. We had metal skewers for the hotdogs and I burned my lip on one. Eh-heh. Somehow we started talking about astrology and compatability and Devin was asking me about certain signs. I explained why we didn't work out (he's a Sagittarius, I'm a Virgo) and some other stuff that I knew and then he asked about Virgo & Virgo. So blatantly asking about Ryan and I. I told him the truth: that since they're both driven and independent signs bent on perfectionism that they need to work together to find common ground. And he was like, "So it has to come from both sides?" I said, "Yup, they have to learn to accept one another's faults and such." So I dunno.
The whole night Devin would go over to Ryan every now and then and they'd hold a hushed conversation for a little while. Probably talking about me. I swear, if either of them try to do anything to make me out to be the bad guy here, it's payback. I'm not being the bad guy. I'm being human.
*sigh* Anyway, I have to work tonight... stupid 4:30-7:30 shift. Bah. Going to take a shower.

*sigh* That's so sad to hear that you and Ryan aren't working out so well. If I was you I'd probably punch them out if they kept going off for hushed conversations about me. So... Pat came out? Did I read that correctly?
Wow, it's been a long time since I've read your diary. Jenna, don't ever leave again. LOL [Static Inertia]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How comes you and Ryan aren't getting on too well, why are you pissed off with him? When did this start? (Sorry, I am the original Question Hurler). I hope everything goes OK for you. :)
RYN: Wheee indeed! I can't wait! 10 days in sunny Spain with no parents...aaah, bliss. Having said that, I bet I've jinxed it now and something'll go wrong. That'd be so typical. But let's hope it'll be OK... [.abstract thinking.]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK, re-reading my note, the questions sound really dumb. I know you're mad at him because he doesn't get the meaning of downtime, but I mean...you're happy to hang around with other people right? So what's up? [.abstract thinking.]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then again, it'd probably do you guys good to have a break...
I'm sorry about these freaky notes. And questions I answer my self. I'm just sleep-deprived. Forgive me. I meant it when I said that I hope everything works out, though. :) Take care of yourself. Anna xoxo [.abstract thinking.]

WORD OF THE DAY: manticore
Today is Monday... *sigh* At least I don't have to work.
I worked yesterday 11:30 to four. It was busy but a pretty good day. Dad was in and he brought William! Ahhh! I hadn't seen my puppy in ages! (Hehe, I still call him that even though he's six.) Dad had just washed him recently so he was all fluffy and soft and white. Dad and I were going to do something just the two of us this week but Julie's gone to Montreal and she's bringing her niece, who's ten, back to visit for the week and Dad says he wants me to himself or something like that. *shrug* 'sokay with me. I asked him if he was prepared for having eight kids over next month for the anime expo and he just kinda gave me this funny look. He painted his living room bright yellow.
Not surprisingly I got invited to go out that night. Went over to Devin's for movies. It was me, Heather, Ryan, Devin, Pat, Lisa and Katie and we watched Amélie. It was good! We laughed so much, it's such a clever and quirky movie. Pat, of course, with his affinity for inserting random French phrases into conversations for no apparent reason, adored it. We talked about the anime expo next month. I'm going to collect everyone's money and then Dad'll get the tickets. We have to take the train up 'cause he can't come out and get us but he'll look into buses and shuttles or whatever up to the convention centre. It shall be good. Any other nutbars going?
Aaaaaaaaand I dunno. Not much else. Yeah.

You And Your Dance 7/29/2002
To make summing up my camping trip easier on me, I shall post for you the letters written to Laura during that time.
Friday, July 19, 2002
Dear Laura,
Well, we're at Sandbanks now and have everything pretty much set up. It's about 3:35 PM right now so we made pretty good time. The ride was boring and irritating with Ryan and Daniel in the back. Yes, he returned. Grandma took one look at him and said, "You again?!" Hehe. Katie's not getting here until Sunday so I expect I shall be rather bored until then.
I don't like Cedars section. I really don't. We're much too far away from the beach, dammit.
Anyway, I'm out.

Saturday, July 20, 2002
Dear Laura,
10:10 AM. As predicted, still fairly boring. Dammit, the lack of hijinks is driving me insane! Went to the beach yesterday and it was cold. Andrea, Nicky, and Erin met this "really cute guy" who spoke NO ENGLISH. Only French. Andrea came to me asking if I would translate for them. All they'd discerned was that his name was Olivier and he was 14.
Now, think about this: Nicky goes to FRENCH IMMERSION. So does Erin. They should know more French than me. Ahhhh! I said no but eventually went out there. They'd found out that he skateboards and rides stuntbikes. Actually, he did look pretty cute, albiet a bit confused and most likely scared by the girls.
Ryan has already started injuring himself repeatedly, like last year. He burned another box and it got his hand a bit. He's probably run into some stuff too. Not surprising.
Ummm... Yeah. That's it.

Wednesday, July 24, 2002
Dear Laura,
Katie, Aunt Greta and Uncle Terry got here EARLY on Sunday and ended up sitting around for two hours while we were at the beach. Ahhh!
Olivier and his family have left but I think they got his address. I know they got pictures of him.
We've gone to the ice cream store a couple of times already. The goat has TWO new kids, a white one and a brown one, and there's a new lamb. They have chocolate peanutbutter cups ice cream. It's really good.
Yesterday Katie and I rode bikes all the way down to the Woodlands section and Dunes Beach. Then we came back because it was starting to rain. Our butts were sore. Before dunner we went out again with Daniel, Ryan and Nicky to this jump. It was fun. Then we went down these stairs, which was also fun until I lost control and fell. I broke the mirror, bent the handlebars and popped the chain off Aunt Greta's bike. Eh-Heh. I myself suffered a grazed leg. I'm fine. No blood.
Uncle Terry keeps calling Erin "Ahmed." Not sure how that started, but he keeps thinking that "Ahmed's" last name is the same as her real one, Weatherston, but it's not. It's something I keep forgetting. (Later note: It's Bara Famid.)
We went shopping the other day. Giant Tiger. I got four shirts 'cause they were $5.00 each. Then we went to McDonald's. Eeeeeewww.... I had the chicken Caesar salad and a caramel-Oreo McFlurry. Both were good. We were making fun of people: The Latino Man-Slut, the Distressed Grandma, the Man-Woman, and Fluorescent Pink Shorts Guy. Mwah Ha.
Anyway, gotta take a shower.
Love ya!

And Your Freestylin' Trance 7/29/2002
Thursday, July 25, 2002
Dear Laura,
The eve of the Bologna Bandits' First Anniversary is upon us! I know we've got Bologna around somewhere, if not here then at Aunt Greta's place. I'll have to check. Still haven't told Katie about it, and if she doesn't want to go I'll go myself. The tradition must be upheld!!!
Yesterday there were prowlers going through people's sites and stealing money and booze. We locked everything of value in the trailer, because we were going out. Katie, Andrea, Nicky and Erin had been out and met this Shawn guy who was piss drunk and hitchhiking. I think Kelsey and Mel were there too. He offered them booze. They reported him. The rangers got some of the hooligans -- one right near us -- and we talked to some guys who'd had their cooler stolen. The OPP were here too.
Then we went to the fashion show thing, which was cool. Katie, Andrea, Nicky and Erin had to stick around back at the site though ebcause the rangers were coming by later for them to give a statement. Of course, they didn't come by until after we got back to they missed the whole show. Bah.
You know what? I wish Derek was ehre. The Kid in the Helmet. He was funny.
Anyway, time for food.
Love ya!

Sunday, July 28, 2002
Dear Laura,
We got back yesterday around 3:15 PM. Mom had to work on Friday so she took Ryan and some of the gear back then in Greta's van, which was nice 'cause we had less shit in the car on the way back.
We didn't go Bologna Banditing. Please don't kill me! It was late! We were at Aunt Cathy's site until like, 11, and we were really, really tired. Katie fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow and I think Greta stole our Bologna. And we didn't do it the next night because it POURED RAIN AGAIN. *sniff* The two of us will have to get together and do it in town sometime.
The rain really made the week kinda sucky. We went swimming in the big waves on Monday with the bodyboards and air mattress and it was fun, but a storm was looming so we returned. Said storm dumped tons and tons of rain on us and raised the bacteria levels in the water to the point that all the beaches were unsafe for swimming except Dunes. So we didn't get to swim most of the week. Like I mentioned, we went bike riding a lot and played a lot of cards. No Spoons -- I mean, Clothespins -- but we played that speed game that Heather taught me a while back a hell of a lot, and Crazy Eights and Uno. Almost every night we pigged out on s'mores. Mmmmmmm..... As soon as the warning signs about bacteria came down we went swimming. That was Friday. It was ice cold and, yes, threatening rain again. Swam anyway and it was fun. On Thursday night we played mini-putt at the ice cream store. Ryan was being an idiot and nearly killed Katie twice driving the ball. PUTT, DAMMIT! And then he whacked it on the final hole into the bushes and we couldn't find it. So we gave him an eight-stroke penalty for acting like an idiot and he still won with 47. I was in second with 49, Daniel had 50-something and Katie lost with 57. Ahhh.
So yeah, it was a pretty good week I guess. Damn the rain! Damn it to hell!
Looooooooooooove and Bologna Bandits forever!
Jay
July 28 AGAIN
Dear Laura,
I forgot to tell you about our neighbors. Basically, we had bratty kids falling into three categories: Bratty Foreign Kids, Bratty Pyro Kids, and Bratty Whining Kids.
For the first couple of days there were two Chinese families across the street, and actually a whole bunch scattered throughout the park. They were a tad odd, plugging in a rice cooker in the bathroom, things like that. The kids, however, were horrible. Running around screaming is bad enough, but running around screaming in Chinese is worse. And the parents weren't much better. At one point one of the younger ones was playing in the van, and the mom was talking to him about getting out and doing something else. You could tell from her tone. Sheesh, you don't do that, you open the door, take the kid out, set him to doing something else, and lock the door.
The Bratty Pyro Kids were next. At seven in the morning they were running around screaming -- in English, in case you were wondering -- and playing with the fire, while their parents were over at the next site chatting and such. All morning. Really.
The Bratty Whiny Kids were the worst. All fucking morning those kids were CRYING. Ahhhhhhhhhh! Bad shit.
But yeah. Other than that, good.
Love Jay

Dear Laura,
We got back yesterday around 3:15 PM.
Love Jay

Guess Who's Back, blah blah blah 7/28/2002
I got back from camping yesteday. It's 10:30 AM on Sunday and I'm not at church because I have to work in an hour. But I'm watching the World Youth Day Mass which has been pretty cool.

The Sun Won't Be So Blinding 7/17/2002
WORD OF THE DAY: gust
Soooooooo anyhoo, it turns out I have a mild ear infection. Dr. Vincent prescribed Biaxin, which is rather hard to take. Fuckonastick.
Ahhhhhhh..... Ryan got back from Georgia on Monday, and already he's going on with the "we don't talk enough" and "I wish we could get closer" shit. I'm not the let's-sit-down-and-have-a-really-really-deep-conversation person, I like to let things happen as they happen and as well, I'm not a big PDA person. He wants to be all lovey-dovey and shit all the time and you know, sometimes I just want to run around like a madwoman and not have him hanging off me. I fucking hate that... We worked it out. Today's our one-month anniversary thingy. :-)
I have seven people talking to me right now. Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
I watched Moulin Rouge and The Fast and the Furious last night. Ohhhh lovely. Gonna finish Memento now. Oh yeah.

I Know Now 7/13/2002
Hearing from him at around 11:15 PM on Friday night was not exactly what she had in mind, but due to the incidents she heard of before involving him, she supposed it wasn't a bad thing.
Her mom gets her up. "Devin's on the phone. It's important."
She drags herself out of bed and across the room to the phone. Her mother leaves.
"Hello?"
"Jenna?"
"Yeah. What's up?"
There's a long pause and he takes a deep breath. "What exactly did Ryan tell you... about me and Sean?"
She's on the phone in her room. She looks up to see her sister at the end of her loft bed, and gives her the "go away" look. "That he... saw you two together."
"Together as in what? Like how far? Exactly what?"
"Well my sister's here..."
"Oh."
"Just... together."
He sighs again. "He blew it way out of proportion. It was just a peck on the cheek. But anyway, don't say anything to anyone. Especially Sean."
"I didn't plan on it."
"Good. Because Heather knows, and somehow Casey knows."
"Maybe from Heather?"
"I don't know. But really, don't mention it to Sean. He's... He's not... He's very fragile."
"I know."
He takes a long shaky breath. She can tell he's getting more and more upset by the second. "He's... Sean's suicidal."
"..."
"He's..." She thinks he might by crying right now, or at least near to it. "He's already tried slitting his wrists. This is the last thing he needs."
"I know."
"No, you don't know!"
"I do now, you just told me."
"Yeah... That's good... So don't talk to him about it, okay?"
"Okay."
"Promise?"
"I promise, Devin."
"Thank you." He sighs. There's a long silence. "Well, good night."
"Good night."
They hang up. It's 11:27 PM. There was a strong sinking feeling in her stomach throughout the whole conversation and now it's not much better.
"What was so important?" Her mother.
"Stuff." She climbs into bed and pulls the sheet over her. Her mom turns out the light. For the second night in a row, two names are running though her head all night, but for a different reason. She doesn't fall asleep until well past midnight.

Do You Like It 7/12/2002
WORD OF THE DAY: quondam
If anyone was wondering, yes, Devin and Sean are both guys. To recap, Devin is my ex-boyfriend and Sean's another guy friend.
I saw Ryan off at the airport today. He's going to Georgia to visit a friend until Monday. Luckily the traffic in Toronto wasn't bad or else I'd have been stuck in the car with his parents for a looooooong time on the way back. I don't like his parents very much.
Anyway, I'm home now. Mom's working until eight fucking o'clock tonight. Started at 11. Nine hours. She's going to be grumpy I'll bet. Daniel's friend Kellen is over again.
I'm talking to Heather right now. She heard about Sean and Devin. Heather's happy about getting back together with Casey but she's "still basically screwed over when it comes to the whole Devin issue." She tried talking to Devin the other night and he would not shut up about Sean. She wasn't surprised either about the two of them and finds that fact kinda weird. Myself, I'm fine, but all last night I just had "Devin and Sean, Devin and Sean, Devin and Sean, Devin and Sean..." running though my head. All fucking night.
So yeah. Lovely.

I'm Trying To Remember Why I Was Afraid 7/11/2002
WORD OF THE DAY: propitious
Lazy day today. Hung around, did dishes, went to work, got online. Tomorrow morning I'm going to the airport to see Ryan off. He's going to Georgia to visit a friend.
Forgot to mention an incident at the park the other night. I fell off the garbage can. Landed on the sidewalk, scraped my elbow up rather nicely. I looked up and everyone was standing around me asking if I was okay. I started laughing 'cause of course I was. Casey was lying on the sidewalk -- he likes to lie on pavement, usually in the middle of the road -- and said that "I didn't see you fall, all I heard was 'clunk' and 'oh fuck.'"
In other news, Casey and Heather are the perfect couple again despite the four-hour distance. According to Casey, Heather told him that as soon as she saw him, she remembered why she loved him. As you might know, Casey feels that Heather is "the one" and was crushed when he found out about Devin.
I'm wondering what Devin will think when he finds out Heahter's with Casey and what Heather will think when she finds out Devin's with... Sean.
Okay, reminder here that this is only supposed to be between Ryan and I, but this is a diary site and like anything, it's private. Between the pages and the eyes only. Not that any of you know us in real life, still. You never know.
Yesterday Ryan had Sean and Devin over. They were all out back, and Ryan went in for a while, came out twenty minutes later to find the two of them making out. I'm not exactly sure of what kind of exchange went between the three of them, but today they were hanging out again and Devin and Sean were holding hands and stuff. It didn't really bother Ryan, heck, he was half expecting it. Myself, I think it's the cutest thing in the entire fucking world, but that's just me. And remember, I'm not supposed to know. So it's feigning ignorance for me, {sarcasm}wahoo nooch.{/sarcasm} I hate knowing stuff I'm not supposed to.
Now that I think of it, maybe it's somehow connected to that weird thing that Devin went all insane over back in May. I had no idea then, but on that day that he and Heather and Ryan were over and we were watching The Three Musketeers, Devin said something about me never listening to him. I told him, "It's hard to listen when you never tell me anything." He had kind of a sullen look. "If you had said to me that there was something important you needed to talk to me about I would have made time to hear it. Heck, even now, and that goes for everybody." I brought up the weird thing. "I'll tell you now, it had something to do with Sean," he said. *shrug* I really don't know, and I'm going to pretend my hardest I don't know anything about the situation. If either of them want to tell me, they will when they want to.
So yeah. That's the news for today.

Haha, love that. You do something that could possibly be painful, and there comes this wary silence, followed by everyone asking if you're okay, and of course you are. I'm not familiar with that at all, of course....okay so maybe I'm a klutz and it happens all the time. I'm not bitter.
Things sound strange there...but that keeps it interesting, right? Ah well, have a good day! [Ms. Spunky]

[Ms. Spunky]

I Think I Am, Therefore, I Am. I Think. 7/10/2002
WORD OF THE DAY: smarmy
I guess I'll pick up where I left off last night.
After Heather's mom called her back in Casey and I went home and just went to bed. Dammit I was tired.
The next morning was Monday, when we planned to go mallratting. Called Ryan and Heather, talked a bit, then Casey and I went over to Heather's. She was wearing the dress that she bought last time we went. The pink one that Sean picked out for her. Yeah, Sean picked out a pink dress for Heather and it's a big joke that he's going to come over to her house and steal it for himself, LOL. It's actually very nice despite its pinkness, and looks good on her. We eventually got walking, planning to catch the 10:45 bus. We knew we wouldn't make it to the stop by the dentist's office where we usually go, so we just went to Rudell, across from our school bus stop. Should have phoned Ryan to tell him that, but we didn't decide that until we were halfway there and didn't have a cell phone. We thought he'd figure it out and meet us on the bus. But he wasn't on it. Plan B, phone him as soon as we get there.
When we passed the Bowmanville Mall, we pointed it out to Casey and he was like, "That's a lie. That is not a mall." It isn't much of one anyway.
At the OC, we saw Ryan across the street! Turns out he'd been late for the bus and was running to catch it, saw that no one was there and stopped. Then as the bus pulled away, he thought, "They're at Rudell." His mom drove him up and they actually passed the bus, but we didn't see them. Anyway, that was all, and we went inside.
We showed Casey the usual haunts and the stupid things we do every single time we're at the mall, except we couldn't go laugh at the sex books because scarily enough, there were actually people there. And lots of them. At least six. So yeah. We looked at other stuff. The usual.
Heather had to get back for work, so when the bus stopped downtown Casey, Ryan and I left to go look at the comic shops and she went the rest of the way home. We went to Grand Central and amazingly, Cliffy Chow didn't try to sell us anything. In fact, he didn't even talk to us. That guy, as Ryan says, would try to sell you the store if he could. Kuroneko was still ludicrously priced. We went to two other places and at one, there were tons of little action figures and fast-food kids meal toys for sale, from like 99 cents to five bucks. Casey found a McDonald's Koopa Paratroopa and was so enamoured he bought it. Due to a rather sick tale involving Devin and a certain video of Eureka's Castle, Ryan bought the Eureka figure to give to him as a joke. I have to be there when he does.
Later we went downtown to Hope's Video and rented C.H.U.D.. A word of advice: NEVER rent this movie. It's horrible. The best part is when the dude in the red shirt went up to the pay phone when AJ was trying to make a call, hit the receiver and stuck the quarter in his mouth. Then he just stood there staring at him until AJ left. It's a bad, bad movie. Pat came over while we were watching it. We ordered pizza and watched Casey's tape again. I saw the beginning part that I'd missed, it was hilarious. Then Heather came over when she was off work and we hung out, went to the park, blah blah. Got to bed at midnight again.
In the morning, Casey called his parents to pick him up. Ryan and Pat came over to see him off and Casey left around 11:30. His mom left something for Mom, who was at work. We walked into town and got ice cream, then went to Ryan's house. Pat had to go home, and I was really tired so I went home too, and had a looooooooooong shower.
Ryan and I had a looooooooooooooong talk later. He said he felt like I wasn't interested in him and how he was. Like, I never really asked him how his day was and stuff. I realized it was true, and that I hadn't been doing that for anyone recently. I notice that when I start getting burned out I get selfish and don't really care how anyone else is. We went on and on for a while about lots of different things and eventually ended up in a better situation than we were before. So yeah.
I went to bed before midnight last night... three minutes before. LOL.
Lorna, my old Pathfinder leader called the other morning. She wanted to know if I was going up to Adelaide this summer to be a Junior Leader. I told her that I hadn't gotten my application in on time and didn't even know when it was. She told me that it's August 11-17 and if I want to come up to call her, because there's always a place for me. :-D It's great to have had a leader who's district commissioner, you get strings pulled for you. I'm thinking I want to go. I love it up there and it would be the first time in six years I haven't gone. And not to brag or anything, but I think they're expecting me up there, LOL. After Rafiki Kashagawigamog, I don't wonder why. I have to talk to Bert about getting another week off in the summer, as well as that weekend at the end of August for the anime convention. Eh-heh...
Anyway, stuff to do. Gotta fly!

So Far, This Is The Oldest I've Been 7/9/2002
I need some fucking Me Time.
Ever get like that? When you're out with your friends doing stuff every day for like two fucking weeks and you don't get to bed until close to midnight every night, even though you have to work the next day and go to church Sunday mornings, so that you almost never see your family or the inside of your house except for when you're there hanging out with your friends and you eat a lot of pizza and ice cream, but you don't gain any weight because you walk everywhere around town and you're not losing any weight from walking because of all the junk, it just balances out, and you watch movies and go to the mall and stay at the park and ohhhh, it's just so endless. And it kicks ass because all day you're having so much fun. But then... it sucks. Because you're tired. You've being using up all your energy doing everything I mentioned above and eventually you burn out and just can't. do. anything. Ahhhhhhhhh......
I'm not quite burned out, but I'm tired enough that I decided I didn't want to do anything today and I stuck by that. Casey went home around 11:30 this morning and then I went downtown for ice cream with Pat and Ryan. We ran into Julia and talked for a while, then went back to Ryan's house for a while. Pat called home and then later talked to Devin. His brother Ian came to pick him up and then I decided to go home because I was really tired and needed a shower. Do you realize that aside from going to bed after 11 every night so far this summer already, I didn't go to bed until after midnight every night Casey was here? Yeah.
Hell, I think I should start from Saturday when Casey came. All morning I was on edge waiting for him, shit, I was nuts. He got here around 11:30 and I gave him a hug first I saw him. Gave him the 5-cent tour of the house, met his parents. Mom spent the usual long, long time yakking with his mom and dad in the front hall. After they left we went down to Heather's house to see if she was there, which, according to Doug, she wasn't. Doug's a dumbass.
We walked down to Ryan's and now even halfway down the street he was saying how much he loved Newcastle. (By the end of his visit, he had 148 reasons why Newcastle was better than Ottawa.) At Ryan's, we looked at Ryan's sketchbooks and they talked about comics, video games and, of course, the basis of their friendship, Evil Dead.
I believe we went to Alley Scoops for ice cream after that, it was good as usual. Showed the town off, which isn't much. I don't quite remember who joined us between then and when I had to go to work but by then, Heather was off and there were other people around and Casey had fallen in just fine, so I went to work from 5 to 8. When I got back I went to Heather's for her party, which, amazingly, people showed up for!
Me, Ryan, Sean, Casey, Devin, Katie, Jeff, Pat, Kienan, Brett, Lisa, Kim, Anita, Tom, Chris, Sam and, of course, Heather, were there. Most of us played Spin the Bottle, for lack of anything better to do. I ended up kissing almost everyone. Devin was disappointed that the girls weren't going to kiss, so we told him that we would kiss if the guys would kiss. It worked on a kind of points system. For each time they did it, we did it, and vice versa. So I kissed everyone that played. And who was the first one? Devin, of all people. Bah. Got Casey like, five times. I asked him if it was weird to kiss his best friend and he was like, "Um, yeah" in that kind of "duh!" voice. The whole thing was interesting to say the least.
Eventually Tom, Anita, Chris and Sam showed up, and, as it usually does with Tom, the alcohol did too. Ryan and I didn't like it so we left. Went to my house and watched "Scariest Places On Earth" with Andrea until the doorbell rang. It was Heather, Casey, Sean, Jeff and Katie. Everyone who had either been drinking or had to leave had gone home and they wanted to know if we wanted to go to the park. Of course. So we went. Hung out for a long while. Katie slept over 'cause she was going to come to church in the morning anyway. She gave Casey the back rub of his life. You should have seen his face. We went to bed at 12:30.
Church the next morning. It was also Sean's birthday. He wasn't in church (slept in) but we sang happy birthday anyway 'cause someone else had a birthday. It was communion. I don't think they scared Casey very much, in fact he said he liked it very much. After we walked down to Ryan's house and Pat's mom picked him up 'cause they had family stuff to do. We went to Sean's house and said happy birthday and everything, then rode bikes down to the cemetary by the lake. We might shoot some of the horror movie there.
Rode back. Sean went home. We went to the Massey House for lunch. Had onion rings. Yum. Got home in time to get ready for work. Had to work 4-10. I originally decided to just go to bed when I got home but instead I went down to Heathers to hang out with her, Ryan and Casey. We watched the tape that Casey brought out of the stuff he did while the power was out recently. Strange Casey-like stuff. He was smelling his shirt because Heather had washed it and it smelled like her. Casey says he's going to buy Gain now so all his clothes smell like Heather.
Went out and got slushies at like, 11:30. Came back, sat in the middle of Heather's court. Ryan's mom picked him up. Heather and Casey and I stayed out there until 1 AM when Heather's mom yelled at her to come in. Apparently, we found out later, three neighbors had called Heather's mom wondering why her daughter and her friends were sitting out in the middle of the court.
Bah, it's almost midnight now... I shall sleep, and finish tomorrow.

Wow. I can't beleive that you're complaining because you're doing TOO MUCH. I'm complaining because I do NOTHING. Now THAT sucks.
I can see that Casey enjoyed his time in Newcastle. Somehow I knew he would. 148 reasons why it's better than Ottawa? I can believe that. I'd probably be able to come up with all those for why it's better than Toronto too. I love little towns. [Static Inertia]

Napalm & Silly Putty 7/5/2002
Oh yeah, I didn't mention. We went mallratting the other day. I bought that bath stuff at the Body Shop that I'd been eyeing for so long but never bought because it was too expensive. It was on sale, 3 for $20. Mango & Peach and Grapefruit & Mandarin. I also got some George Carlin stuff; the book Napalm and Silly Putty and CD "Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics." If you think you don't know who George Carlin is you do, because you probably saw Shining Time Station. He was Mr. Conductor. The one with grey hair, the other one was Ringo Starr. Anyway, he's hilarious, check him out.
And I got my report card today.
Strings - 87
French - 93
Math - 80
Science - 84
Average - 86
Overall I'm more than happy. French is once again tied for my best subject, this year with History. Last year was with computers.
Anyway, it's 1 AM now. Gotta sleep.

And yes, George Carlin. I used to watch him every day. I downloaded some of his stuff. One called something like "7 Words You Can't Say On TV." I must say, it's something I never would have imagined from him. [Static Inertia]

Congrats on your report card! *tries to remember if I got mine already*

You did better than me in Strings. That's beside the point Well, actaully, I have no point, so it cant be beside it. On top of it, maybe. Maybe that is my point. But thats not the point, either. My point exactly.

Kudos for the grades- nice job!
Yes of course I saw George Carlin on STS, but never since then. I had no idea he had a life other than a little five inch railroad man...! You learn something new every day.
Take care,

Mallratting?! Whaaaaat? LOL. Congrats on the grades. :) When will you start your job as Anna's French Tutor? ;) [.abstract thinking.]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey miz lady! How's it going? Gar, I'm tired. But that's probably because it's almost 1 o'clock of the AM sort. Dang insomniacs. Hope you're well, have a lovely day. [Ms. Spunky]

Wake Up, Wake Up, Woah-Ho! 7/5/2002
WORD OF THE DAY: umpteen
Ahh, I finally get to write.
As... one of you knows already (Denise), I am the proud recipient of the BIGGEST HICKEY IN THE WORLD! thanks to Ryan. And on the front of my neck too. By now it's mostly gone, thank God, so Dad hopefully won't notice. Mom was none too pleased. Ryan was so paranoid that she'd kill him but she said no, unless it happened again, and if Dad saw it he'd definitely be dead.
Anyway, not much has really happened. I've been working, causing a ruckus with my gang of hooligans, stuff like that. It's quarter to one on Friday so I should sleep. Casey's visiting tomorrow! AHHHHHH! Mom's making us clean house even though he said he doesn't really care. Mom does though.
I was at Devin's, we were watching Macross Plus with Ryan, Pat, Sean and Katie. It's good. I didn't get to see all of it because I had to go home, but anwyay. Good stuff.
Later guys!

ROTFLMAO
You have no idea how hard that first sentence made me laugh. You got me in hysterics for nearly five minutes!
*takes a deep breath*
Anyway, it's weird that you named this entry after Goldfinger. They were on Much On Demand today. Did you see that? I just watched it about 2 hours ago. Weird. [Static Inertia]
