45-Day Money Back Guarantee 2/19/2003

WORD OF THE DAY: palimpsest

Reach tournament. Sucked ass again; lost every game. I had a very nice chocolate croissant afterwards, but now I feel sick from the horrible air in the place I bought it.

Also got a math test back. 52%. But I got 80% on my Chem test on nomenclature. Hooray.

Today at band, The Star Of Dreams has started to sound ridiculously good. Justin was trying to teach me how to skank, because I suck at it. I need to relax when I do it and "it's all in the arms" apparently. I was practicing a little while ago and nearly killed myself. :-P I'll learn. Justin said he wasn't any good until he went to his first ska show and that was only in October. Now it seems like he never walks anywhere, he skanks. Heheh.

Well, there's not much else to say. Sooo have a good night.

Life Is A Series Of Dogs 2/16/2003

WORD OF THE DAY: hale

Soooooooooo...

Friday. Valentine's Day and the infamous delivery of the Candygrams. Candygrams is a thing at schoolwhere you go buy them (25 cents each, 5 for a dollar) and write a little message for the one you luuuuuvvvveee and then they stick it to a bag of candy and give it to them. Meghan and Jessica ran it, and I think they said over 530 were bought. I know of people who bought at least 30 for ONE PERSON. Can we say obsession? Well, the Lösters bought 35 for Mr. Glover, and got a student to write corny messages and stuff on them so it would look like Glover had a student stalker. Mr. Glover teaches math, he's quite quirky and a little insane. Always talking about Dante and stuff... Mr. Löster said that some of the messages were "My love for you is like Dante's Inferno" and "y=mx+b: a straight line to my heart." So bad!!! But funny. Mr. Löster likens Mr. Glover to Kramer from Seinfeld.

And me? Personally, I got four and a nice toothache. :-P Pat, Julie, Liz and Tanya. I sent fifteen. Awww, and Pat is definitely going out with Sarah, and it's sooo cute. He did some doodles in History the other day and one of them is "Some Nerd" sighing at the feet of "Hot Sarah" as she says "Geez Louise". "Some Nerd" looks suspiciously like Pat. He took that picture, blew it up, coloured it and made it into the card, and got her a rose, and we were all awww-ing and I punched Pat and called him a sap. At first break he tackled me in thanks for the Candygram. Anita and Heather wrote "YOU SMELL FUNNY. I LIKE IT." on each other's.

Next week we have TWO freakin' buy-ins in a row. Monday we get to see Casey St. Jones, the hypnotist. (Rather creepy, seeing as our Casey's last name is Jones. Really.) And then on Tuesday we cheer on the Clarke Raiders Senior Boys Basketball team for the Kawartha Finals. Hooray for missing Chemistry!!!

Ihatemyspacebar.

Friday night, Heather, Sean and I went and saw Chicago and it kicked ass. Go see it.

Yesterday was Mom's birthday. We took her out for dinner at Hanc's, a fish 'n' chips place in Bowmanville, and we bought her windshield wipers and My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

Now that it's February, we have to start planning for Anime North 2003. There's going to be a zillion Gundam people there so of course Katie and I are going. Heather wants us all to dress up as Final Fantasy 8 characters. I'll probably be Quistis, because while I've never played the game, Pat showed me once and she's pretty cool. And she has a whip. This year it'll only be me, Katie, Heather and Pat. Casey would come, except it's the same weekend as his school band trip. This makes Pat Squall by default. Heather wants to be Selphie, and we think Katie should be Rinoa. There's a guy on one of my mailing lists who is planning on being Seifer, so there you go.

I'm sick of my spacebar. Outta here.

WOW!!! [Static Inertia]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Prince Ali, Fabulous He, Ali Ababua.... 2/12/2003
...or something like that.

WORD OF THE DAY: qui vivre

Reach tournament yesterday. I'd really rather not talk about it. We sucked ass. Only won one game, against Port Hope. Broke 100 twice. That's it. A guy on the Bowmanville team has a really feminine voice which serves as a distraction. Screw Braeden and Billy, we can deal with them, but with Feminine Voice Guy in the whole round, you can't think!

So we sucked.

Course selection this week. Looked at everything and I'm all set for next year. My 6 Uni. level courses, a music and a spare. Made a little chart for all my required shit and it fills in nicely. Plan on taking english, writer's craft, music (probably strings), french, calculus (because I'll probably need it for social science courses), biology (because it rocks), and history.

Bed now.

Fragile Lives, Shattered Dreams 2/3/2003

WORD OF THE DAY: inaliable (sp?)

Offspring today. Rock it.

Sooooo I return to school for second semester. Hooraz? Much running around in the morning acting like an asshole, as usual. Scared the exchange student. Her name's Asuka, and, hate to say it, she's so cute. Shorter than Andrea, smiley, doesn't seem to quite understand what we're saying, but that's okay. Anyway, I talked to her a little. We got each other's names and that she has Art first period. Anyway, I saw Kyle and yelled at him and saw her jump like four feet in the air.

First period is Math with Matsusaki. Death, Destruction, War and Pestilence all reside in that classroom. He arranged us in alpha-ma-betical order, the asshead. I sit behind Heather. We got homework. Exponent laws. I flipped through some stuff. I'm going to die. Mrs. Löster will probably be seeing a lot of me. At least once a week. I'm going to try to make a point of going in for help.

Second is Biology with Mr. Löster!!!! Hoopya! Going to be the best class evar, no kidding. First, it's Mr. Löster. Score one. Second, there's twenty kids in the class. 2-0. Which is excellent. Nice, small class, not too many jerks (none at all, really...), it'll be great.

Strings, I got the cello. Sweet-ah!

Chemistry... Matsusaki again. This time I sit next to Heather. Did some stuff, wasn't too bad, just really really boring.

Talked to Mrs. Mostoway after school and she said I got 76 out of 80 on my exam. That's 95%. Like, woah. Dude.

Worked tonight. Bored shitless. Heather and I goofed off. Cut up a bread box and called it the Mr. Sub Theatre, and we're going to do little stories with it and some action figures. Heather will be represented by Tifa Lockheart. I need to find one for me. Hm...

In Your Head, In Your Head, They Are Dying 2/2/2003

WORD OF THE DAY: minuscule

With their tanks and their bombs / and their bombs and their guns / in your head, in your head / they are fighting... -- "Zombies" by The Cranberries

Meloves this song. Finally got around to downloading it. Been listening to The Used a lot too. Still bitter about the show at the Kool Haus being sold out... *shakes fist*

Um... yeah. Nommuch. Finally got my copy of The Fellowship of the Ring on DVD yesterday. Dad was like, "Why didn't you tell me? I would've brought my laptop out." I completely forgot that Dad's laptop has a DVD drive. He could've hooked it up to the TV and I could've watched it. Dammit. Meh. I'll probably end up going to Heather or Katie's place to watch it sometime. We have a P.A. Day coming up or something. So many in a row. Days off are nice, but they need to spread them out better. We had a P.A. Day AND Christmas break in December, and we get an extra day off before March break... And then other months we don't have any extra days off. Geez.

Andrea burned the French fries again, bitch.

Gotta work 5-9:30 tonight. Hooraz.

I put up a contest on my web site. The prize? A stupid little picture from me. How lovely! Go see. Hell, tell all your friends, I want more visitors! My hit counter was at 1008 last night, and I know that all of those are the same four or five people over and over again. Gyah.

My apostrophe/quote key is sticking. It pisses me off.

Umm... yeah. not much else.

As Long As I Believe, I Can Breathe 2/1/2003

WORD OF THE DAY: chrestomathy

Heather had her party on Thursday and it went pretty well. I took lots of pictures... actually, I ran out of film at 9:30, LOL. Had a lot of laughs... Julie was the only one who got really drunk. Heather didn't provide any alcohol, some other people brought it. We walked her home at one in the morning and it was FREEZING COLD! It probably wouldn't have been so bad if she didn't live on the other side of town. Heather and I stopped at the bank to warm up on our way home though. I slept over at her house that night. Tifa, her cat, came in and started meowing at me first thing in the morning and then jumped up on the bed and started trying to climb under the blanket. Silly cat.

Saw Final Destination 2 with Lor yesterday. It kicked ass. I was flipping out the whole time because I kept seeing the signs. I'd be like, "Lor! The thing! And the guy! And HE'S GOING TO DIIIIIEEEE!!!!!!" But it was good. Lots of stuff blew up. Better death scenes too. Watch it. Now.

Worked 4-10. It was hella busy. Heather and I were like noooooooooo... So many people. Lots of cleaning and prep work after. *sigh* Had soup though.

Dude, with my regular shifts and getting called in twice this week, I have 19 hours. Cha-ching, baby.

Tomorrow's our last day off before going back to school... *sigh* Semester 2, wahoo. Math with Matsusaki, Biology with Mr. Löster, Strings with Sharpie, and Chemistry with Matsusaki again. Hooraz? My brain shall fry.

Anyway, that's about it.
